Einstein's Hatchday

WOW!Was I REALLY this Small?

It's hard to believe, but on June 15, 1997,

I hatched from an egg just like this!

A special thank you to my African Grey friend "Rita" for laying this egg.
(Rita doesn't have a mate, so the egg was not fertile.)

About Me

I am Einstein the Talking Texan Parrot, an African Grey Parrot. People seem to love talking parrots, and I LOVE to talk and entertain! I like to teach others about how to take care of their parrots and how to interact with their parrots. I make lots of talking videos that show how I like to perch on various "parrot approved areas" in my home, such as the kitchen drawer, the shower, kitchen chairs, napkin holders, and my play perches! I was hatched in June of 1997 and I live with Marcia and Jeff in a place called Texas!

That parrot lives at the Knoxville, TN Zoo, and does daily bird shows. The only things we have in common are our name, good looks, and the desire to entertain humans! Check me out! Owning and raising a parrot is a serious decision and not one to take lightly. Parrots are not like a dog and cat. They require much devotion. They are messy, noisy, and expensive. They are like having a 2 year old child for the rest of your life!
